That is why Rongon – House of Activities is hosting a special, child-friendly Public Speaking Competition right here in Santoshpur, South Kolkata! This event is designed not as a stressful exam, but as a joyful and encouraging platform for children to discover their voice.
A Supportive Stage for Young Voices
Stepping up to a microphone for the first time can be intimidating. We have structured this event specifically for children aged 9 to 12 to ensure they feel entirely supported.
To provide the most constructive and nurturing feedback possible, we have invited a very special panel of judges:
- Rochana Sengupta (Teacher): Bringing years of educational experience to help guide the children’s delivery and structure.
- Dr. Banhishikha Bhattacharyya (Psychologist): Ensuring the environment remains psychologically safe, encouraging, and focused on building confidence rather than just critiquing performance.
